Biography



Robert M. Klein earned his Bachelor of Science in Economics degree from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. Robert graduated from the Louis D. Brandeis School of Law of the University of Louisville in 1978.
Robert is a Louisville native with a diverse background in the law. He is an experienced problem-solver with practical answers for clients. He has represented a very broad-based clientele from consumers to large companies, small businesses and estates. He is also admitted in North Carolina.
He enjoys working with a large variety of clients and subjects, particularly in the areas of Trusts and Estates, Business Organization, Commercial Litigation, Consumer Class Actions, Real Estate Transactions and Litigation, and Collections. He has taught a number of seminars for continuing legal education. Robert handles matters in the Louisville area and the surrounding counties in Kentucky.
Robert is an active participant in the community. He is a past President of The Temple , the largest Jewish congregation in the state. Robert is past President of the Louisville Apple Users Group. He enjoys University of Louisville sports, skiing, ham radio (KY1RK), photography, cycling, hot yoga and politics.
Robert is married to Lisa Klein, M.D., a pediatric cardiologist. They have five kids, two boys and three girls: Sydney, Annika, Ian, Samantha and Adam. He has served various charitable organizations such as the Action League for Physically Handicapped Adults and has raised funds for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society through the Team In Training program where he cycled for100+ miles several times around the country. He is President of the Amateur Radio Transmitting Society (ARTS).
